It seems that you should cancel any upcoming trips to NYC!
A "famous" Christian minister, on his blogspot: http://davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com/, wants to warn the world that New York is about to burst into flames!
The "when" is, of course, lost in a conveniently vague date,

The nature of the incident is also very vague, but is will definitely be very bad:

Nonetheless despite his inability to provide a simple timeframe, or any specific details whatsoever, the "why" is crystal clear, says Wilkerson:
Quote:| In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation. |

Appearantly getting a simple date is too much to ask, but knowing the will of a supernatural being is doable.
Not only is New York in danger, but the rest of us are in deep doodoo as well. Wilkerson tells his readers that we are not in a recession or even a depression but rather,
Quote:| God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations. |

It would appear that our current troubles are a direct result of God's wrath.
If God is indeed the cause of our current troubles, I for one would like to file suit against this fellow known as " God " regarding significant losses to my retirement savings plan.
If there's one thing that gets my hackles up, it's a god that refuses to speak to me or give a single clear direction, and then burns down our cities because of our failure to comply with his secret wishes.
Anyways, we've been warned, so it's time to take action:
To prepare for this apocalyptic vengence, Wilkerson suggests storing 30 days of food and toiletries. He also suggests you may want to flee like a bird to the "mountain." Which mountain he is referring to is again not specified. What "like a bird" means is also not clear either.
At that point the satelite connection with God Almighty seems to have gone dead. No further details are available.
I know this is probably too much to ask, but would any of you who are in daily contact with the Almighty mind asking him for a little clarification?
For example, please ask him WHO the wicked are that he plans to rain coals of fire upon? A date would be nice too. You know, so I could avoid visiting my wicked friends on burning coal day.
